PRINTING

What is a giclée print?

A fine art digital print made on an inkjet printer. They are archival quality and guaranteed not to fade or bleed for up to 100 years. It's the industry standard in galleries and museums across the world - so prints can be passed down from little to littler!

What type of printer do you use?

The latest Epson P20070 printer using genuine Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks (the real deal).

What type of paper do you use?

We print to a 300gsm 100% cotton, matte rag.

FRAMING MATERIALS

Do you use real timber moulding?

    All our timber is locally sourced from sustainable sources. We use Victorian Ash and Tasmanian Oak timber. 

    Are the frames mass produced?

    Each frame is hand cut and carefully assembled by our awesome team working from our awesome Melbourne workshop.

    Why do you use acrylic instead of glass?

    The 3mm Plexiglass we use is museum grade. It's lighter than glass, helps to protect your artwork from UV damage and also has the added advantage of being shatter proof (you're welcome).

    SHIPPING

    How long will delivery take?

    For unframed prints, we will have your new work to you in approximately 7-10 days.

    For framed prints (Australia only) - we will have your new work to you in approximately 2 weeks.

    How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping is a flat-fee of $10 Australia wide - regardless of how many prints you buy or how big they are! 

    How are the frames shipped?

    Unframed prints are carefully rolled in tissue paper and enclosed in a secure shipping tube.

    Framed prints - The frame is bubble wrapped and shipped in custom made, double wall cardboard packaging using a courier service. All work is insured against loss or damage. 

    How can I track my order?

    For unframed prints - you will be emailed your tracking number when your order is a day or two away.

    For framed prints - you will be emailed when your order is a day or two away. Framed prints are delivered by courier, requiring signature on delivery - so please let us know if you give authority to leave without a signature. Otherwise, should no one be home - a note will be left in your mailbox with a nearby location to pick up your order.

    Framed prints are available in Australia only.

    Will my credit card information be secure?

    Absolutely. For the safety of our customers, all transactions are processed by Shopify. By Bambi does not collect any store & credit card info used to make purchases.
